Calling Our ACL Teen Volunteers! Fall Planning Meeting, Saturday at 10:30 am

Are you a teen who loves books or libraries?  Do you have a youth living at home who would like to become involved in super-local, low-key community service?  We have a mighty crew of teens (and NEAR-teens, “tweens” are swell) who help us plan and run activities at the library.

We’re having an informal planning meeting on Saturday at 10:30 am.  Ideas we’re kicking around include:

  • Have a teen arts/crafts/photography sale sometime this fall.  Sell your wares at the library!
  • Run a Halloween craft for kids at the library in late October.

Anyone who is interested in learning more is encouraged to attend an informational meeting this Saturday at 10:30 (we’ll have donuts!!!!) or you may email if you cannot join us.

GUYS are welcome, too!  We’d love to add some teen-run guy-friendly activities in addition to our beloved Magic Club.  Perhaps Manga?  Or digital photography?

Teens typically are behind anything cool we do at the ACL.  Join our crew.
