The ACL is completely staffed by a dedicated group of volunteers who work behind the scenes and at the library to keep our doors open and services running. We seek volunteers for a number of roles:
- Staffing the library when we are open – usually you have the option to sign up for one to two hour shifts. Tasks may include moving/shelving books, helping patrons find/check out materials, and generally answering patron questions.
- Garden support – helping to maintain the green spaces around the library from planting to watering to weeding.
- Activity leaders – do you have an idea for a club or activity you’d like to lead at the ACL? A board game night? A crafternoon? A foreign-language conversation hour? Let us know by emailing activities@auburndalelibrary.org
- Tech support – help maintain our website and troubleshoot tech issues
