We are thrilled to usher in our fall season at the ACL with an outdoor concert! The band is Back Burner, an 8-piece group that plays oldies rock and roll.
Three members are from Auburndale — Jill McNeil (vocals), Alex McNeil (bass), and Lee Joseph (percussion). One is from Waban — Mel Gluskin (guitar & vocals). The others are from far and wide — Leo Lauretano (guitar & vocals) is from Winchester, Fred Thorne (keyboards) from Norfolk, Chuck Boisseau (guitar and vocals) from Barrington, Rhode Island, and Bud Marvel (drums) from Wells, Maine. In addition, Dana Hanson will do a guest vocal (no musical talent, but an ACL person).
