As we all know, a 100% volunteer-run community library doesn’t work without a whole lotta volunteers. Many thanks to our fabulous March volunteer squad…these fine folks keep the ACL humming:
AnnaMaria Abernathy, Ginny Adams, Jessica Avery, Patricia Bottomley, Debbie Bowen, Susan Cassidy, Nancy Caulfield, Ellen Chu, Anne Costello, Faye Christakos, Barb Day, Diana Fisher Gomberg, Marlene Gibson, Vicky Gifford, Barry Goldstein, Dana Hanson, Suruchi Kaul, Lenna Kutner, Celia Kwartler, Janet Linder, Amanda Loftus, Joanne Lyons, Barbara Maratos, Nancy Mazur,
Pam McVey, Adeline Mega, Carie Michael, Liz Miller, Maren Oslund, Ann Purcell, Robyn Phillips, Sonja Pleynet, Jaye Schneider, Ned Schofield, Allison Sharma, Junko Shibuya, Lynn Slobodin, Caryn Sowa, Ed Sugrue, Martha Sweet, Beth Tierney, Christopher Weinmann
Your name here??? If you can spare as little as 1 hour per month, you can help us keep things going at the ACL. No experience necessary–we’ll train you on the job. If you love the idea of the ACL but haven’t yet kicked into gear to lend a hand, we could really use you on our team. Please contact Dana Hanson at danakhanson@gmail.com to learn how to sign up for your first shift. (We send the sign-ups out every two weeks and you will NOT be signing on for a permanent shift, just a slot–if any–that works for your particular schedule.)
It would lighten the load for all of our current ACL volunteers–even if you see the same faces every time you pick up your child from an activity, please remember that these folks are volunteers and they are all busy people, just like you. They might really enjoy a free hour, themselves, sometime 🙂 .
