Volunteering at the Library

If you are open to some light volunteering during the summer months, we currently could use a few more Piano Pals to help cover/ uncover our outdoor piano to protect it from rain. Please email Chris Weinmann at: chrisweinmann1@gmail.com to sign up and for more details.

Teen Volunteers: We greatly appreciate the enthusiasm and desire to help from our neighborhood teens. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate teen volunteers for regular library duties this summer. We would however love to invite our teens to take a leadership role and think of programs or activities that they would like to organize and run. It can be a one-time or recurring event. Examples include a crafternoon, board game/puzzle night, Scratch coding with our Chromebooks, or something like Classics for Kids (see above). In the past, we have had teens help organize musical story times, coding class, book clubs, writing club, crafts classes and more. Email activities@auburndalelibrary.org with your ideas. We can’t wait to hear them!
