Film at the Walker Center: Wednesday, April 3 at 7:00 pm Two Who Dared: The Sharps’ War

Proudly presented by the Charles River Neighborhood Foundation, Two Who Dared: The Shaprs’ War tells the story of a Unitarian minister Waitstill Sharp and his wife Martha, who just prior to the invasion of Czechoslovakia in February 1939, left their young children in MA to help save thousands being persecuted in Eastern Europe.  Who were these American heroes and what drove them to undertake this dangerous mission, putting the well-being of strangers over family?
