Library News

We’ve passed the one month mark and things couldn’t be going better at our library! We have issued 372 library cards and circulated 1250 books since we opened with the help of over 75 volunteers. A few clubs and activities have started with many more in the works for the fall. Through the generosity of our donors we have been able to start purchasing new books which are going up on the shelf and out the door as fast as we can catalog and cover them. We’ve also received a huge number of donated books.

If you haven’t already, come check us out during our open hours! We think you’ll be really excited by all the community at our Community Library. You can get all the information you need from our website.

A few reminders:

  • If you requested a library card and haven’t yet picked it up it is still waiting for you at the front desk.
  • It’s not too late to sign up for a card or make a donation. Just come by or look for the forms online.
  • If your books are overdue please return them. You can drop them in the book slot on the Auburn Street side of the building any time.
  • Save the Date — On September 12th we will be having an event at the Library to celebrate our opening. More details to follow soon.

See you at the library,
Liz and Dana
