New Student Art At The ACL: Williams First Graders Present “Fish and Cats”

Our new art exhibit of Fish and Cats, by Williams School First Grade artists, is waiting for you at the ACL. The students learned about the art and life of Paul Klee. He created numerous large and colorful paintings of cats and fish. First graders learned how to draw a fish using a combination of shapes, lines, letters, and numbers. They drew seashells from observation. They added other animals and plants in the surrounding ocean from memory. Art materials included permanent markers, crayons, and watercolors.
