Newton Nomadic Theater is BACK at the ACL! Sunday February 25th at 7:30 pm

We like to think of the Newton Nomadic Theater as our hipster cousin.  And they are back for a new performance at the ACL.

What exactly does a director do?  The Nomads are going to take you behind the scenes to find out.

Nicole Galland, an award winning director and founder of Shakespeare for the Masses will walk you through how each directorial choice can transform a script into something completely new.

You’ll see various scenes from Shakespeare played multiple times using different directorial choices.  With each choice, the same words on the page will yield wildly different results.

The Nomads have recruited a great cast for the evening – Noni Lewis (All in the Timing, Molly Sweeney), Steve Vaughan (Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me, Scrooge in A Christmas Carol) and a fabulous Newton Nomadic newcomer Abigail Dickson.

Don’t miss this wildly inventive, entertaining and surprising look behind the scenes.  One weekend only!  So get your tickets soon while they last.

The Newton Nomadic Theater is dedicated to producing simply staged, high quality theater in interesting and unconventional theater spaces in and around Newton.  In between theatrical productions the theater also regularly hosts Nomad Story Slams, Moth radio inspired nights of story telling.
