Do you like to cook and read? Come celebrate the last season of Downton Abbey with High Tea at the ACL!
For the second cookbook book club, you can choose from two books so we’ll have a proper full tea! Make a savory item from Flour Too (Joanne Chang) or a sweet treat from Ready for Dessert (David Lebovitz).
Here’s how our ACL Cookbook Club works:
- You chose a recipe from either cookbook. (We’ll have a non-circulating copy of Flour Too and Ready for Dessert at the front desk–you can take a photo or request a photocopy of the recipe you would like to prepare.)
- Sign up at the circulation desk or using our on-line signup form so we will ensure we don’t have duplicate dishes.
- Make your dish at home and bring it to the ACL on Sunday, February 28th ready to eat (we don’t have ability to reheat or refrigerate at the ACL).
