Armando Rossi–Turning 90! An ACL Community Celebration Saturday, February 12 from noon-2 pm

An ACL Winter Celebration–Join us whether you know Armando or not!
Whether you know Armando or not, please join us for our winter community event at the ACL! We’ll have food, Valentine crafts for children, and a small program for Armando that includes music, words from city officials, and thoughts and reflections from the birthday boy himself. If you would like to contribute refreshments to the party, please contact Dana Hanson. We are also planning on taking up a collection in honor of Armando’s neighborhood pursuits (like his Newton North Scholarship fund and his landscaping projects), so please bring your checkbook to the party if you would like to make a donation in Armando’s honor.

About Armando Rossi: You may not think you know Armando, but you probably do! You’ve likely seen him around and about with wheelbarrow in hand, discussing neighborhood improvements with our local merchants, or just “holding court” with his zillion neighborhood friends. He’s the one responsible for much of the lovely landscaping around the village of Auburndale and he’s helped us tremendously at the ACL as well. He’s a neighborhood institution and he’s agreed to let us celebrate his upcoming 90th birthday (it’s not a surprise party—his actual birthday is February 20th).

If you would like to be involved in the planning of the event, or would like to bring refreshments, please contact Dana Hanson. Thanks, and Happy Birthday Armando!
